A Word on Ethics
We at Jenkins' firmly believe that livestock raised on pasture produce healthier, tastier meat. This is why animals are not treated with growth hormones or sub-therapeutic antibiotics — both common ingredients in industrial livestock operations. CAFOs, or concentrated animal feeding operations, are motivated soully by profit with the intention of getting animals to market weight as quickly as possible. This is the opposite of our idealogy, and our animals enjoy healthy outdoor lives eating only their natural diets.
