Opened in 1910 long before the advent of cinematic sound, the Electric Cinema is the perfect venue for silent film enthusiasts. Its name derives from the fact that it was also one of the first buildings in the area to be supplied with electricity, as well as being one of the first buildings in Britain specifically built for motion picture.

Cocktails, beer, and wines are available from the cinema bar, as well as a selection of snacks. Visitors can also sample a range of delicious dishes at the adjacent Electric Diner, which opens from 8am until late in the evening.
